This article applies to JIRA running server-side "JIRA Client" plugin, that provides site license for connecting JIRA Client applications.
How to verify that JIRA Client plugin is enabled
Required permissions: JIRA administrator
To verify that JIRA Client support is running on your JIRA server, you need to:
- go to Administration | Plugins page
- find JIRA Client plugin
- check that all of its modules are enabled
Also, it is a good idea to check your license information on Administration | Plugins | JIRA Client page.
As the last measure, check network connection between JIRA server and the computer that has problems running JIRA Client.
How to check JIRA Client site license
JIRA Client site license is installed on JIRA server and allows JIRA Client to connect to the server without having each user obtain and install a personal license key.
To verify your JIRA Client site license, use either Administration | Plugins | JIRA Client menu to open JIRA Client administration page, or use Administration | Plugins page to open Universal Plugin Manager and check the license for JIRA Client plugin there. (Only if version 2.0 or later of the UPM is installed.)
