Sort Order

The Field Sorter organizes items in the following way:

• Numeric values - are sorted in numeric order
• Text values - are sorted alphabetically
• Dates - are sorted chronologically
• Priorities - are sorted based on the Jira Priority order
• Sprints - are sorted first by state (Active, Future, Closed), second by boards, and third by sprint position on the board page
• Statuses - are sorted first by status category, second by project (global statuses are shown above), and third by the status id
• Versions - are sorted first by project, and then by the position of the current version on the project version page
