For search by IDs and by words you can specify the scope where the search should be run. You can either use one of the two existing default scopes: Search within selected nodes and Search everywhere, or specify your own scope. To access this function click the magnifying glass icon  Image Added next to the search input field and select the required scope. If Search everywhere is selected, Deskzilla will search for bugs in all existing connections. For Search within selected nodes the search will be ran withing the elements currently selected in the navigation area.

To add a personalized scope, select the required scope in the navigation area, click the magnifying glass icon and then click Add scope.... If necessary, modify the scope name and click OK.

To search by IDs:

  1. In the navigation area select the element where you wish to search for the bugs.
  2. Click the Quick Search input field. The selected element and all its sub-elements will be highlighted in the navigation area.
  3. Specify the IDs of the bugs you want to find separated by commas or semicolons and press Enter or click the Run text search button located next to the input field.
  4. Deskzilla will search for the bugs with the specified numbers in the element selected.
  5. The results are shown in the bugs table.
