Restoring structure from backup brings back the structures and synchronizers created at the moment of backup.

Restoring structure will not affect issues in any way. The issues that make up the hierarchy should already exist in JIRA. If you do full restore, then you need to run the standard JIRA data restore first - see Structure Backup and Restore. |
To restore the structure from backup:
- Navigate to Administration | Structure | Restore Structure.
- Enter the full path to the structure backup file (either .xml or .zip).
- Click Restore.
- If Structure currently has any data, it will ask you to confirm the restore operation. Restoring from backup clears all Structure data, and it cannot be undone! If you have data that you're overwriting, you might want to perform Backup first.
- Wait until page loads – Structure data has been restored! The plugin will be restarted and will be available a few seconds after Restore has completed.
After the structure has been restored, open Structure | Manage Structure page to see if the structures are there.

JIRA versions 4.3 and earlier cannot dynamically reload Structure plugin. Structure plugin will be temporarily disabled after Restore has finished and will be enabled back after JIRA is restarted. |
