You can delete an existing Gantt configuration from the Manage Configurations dialog.
You need to be the owner of the configuration or a Jira administrator to be able to delete a Gantt configuration.
If Gantt configuration is in use, you can delete it, but you will need to select a replacement configuration.
There are some limitations when deleting a configuration and replacing it with another one.
- The replacement configuration should have the same visibility as the one being removed. So, for example, it is possible to replace a public configuration with another public configuration only.
- You need to have Control access to all the structures that are using the configuration being deleted.
